The Fraunhofer Project Group for Process Innovation is a branch of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA in Bayreuth. In close cooperation with the Chair of Environmentally Friendly Production Engineering at the University of Bayreuth, we research and develop innovative processes, efficient value-added systems, and artificial intelligence for industrial production.
Industry is facing profound changes: rising demand for resources, a shortage of skilled workers, volatile supply chains, and new sustainability requirements.
